-About Me-I grew up in Elizabethtown, NY, a small town in the beautiful mountains of the northern Adirondacks. I now live and work in Pembroke, ME as an artist, photographer and seamstress.
Most of my college years were spent in the Hudson Valley, where I attended SUNY New Paltz. I graduated in 2005 with a BA in Studio Art and a minor in Art History. I studied silversmithing and photography predominantly, but dabbled in other studio classes along the way, wishing I could learn "how to do everything". In 2009 I moved to gorgeous Downeast Maine, and in early 2010 bought a home on the coast in Pembroke, where I currently have my studio. While I remain a mountain girl at heart, I find I am continuously inspired by the beauty surrounding coastal living and cannot imagine a better trade-off. On top of my many creative endeavors, I am an avid DIY-er, gardener and houseplant fiend. Mom to a cheeky long-haired dachshund and an ever-changing number of chickens. I am always up for a challenge and teaching myself new skills. |
