I am a self employed artist and seamstress.
I grew up in Elizabethtown, NY, a small town in the mountains of the northern Adirondacks. Three out of my four years of college were spent in the Hudson Valley, where I attended SUNY New Paltz, and for my first year I attended Syracuse University. I graduated from New Paltz with a BA in 2005. My major was Studio Art with a minor in Art History. I studied silversmithing and photography predominantly, but dabbled in other studio classes along the way. Since then, I have been working and learning on my own. I moved to Downeast Maine in 2009. In early 2010 we bought a house on the coast in Pembroke, ME, where I currently have my studio. While I remain a mountain girl at heart, I find I am continuously inspired by the beauty surrounding coastal living. I can't imagine a better trade-off. |
